PROBLEMS NOTED
Given the worrying environmental situation of the Hann Bay , a project called the “Hann Bay Depollution Project” was developed by the stakeholders. Ecological monitoring is essential to measure progress.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
For the ecological monitoring of the regeneration of the bay after the completion of the works, it is planned to set up a monitoring and evaluation system for the waters and surroundings (beach) of the bay under construction:
- An initial state of the coastal environment of the Bay
- Establishment of an ecological monitoring system for the coastal environment of Hann Bay after implementation of the project.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Phase 1: Initial state of the area with
- Framing of the area and indicators to characterize the initial state
- Quantification of biological and physicochemical indicators
- Definition of the multi-annual monitoring framework and appropriate indicators.
Phase 2: Technical monitoring document of the bay
- Indicators for monitoring water quality and the environment of the Bay after project implementation
- Monitoring-evaluation system of the indicators
- Monitoring plan of the indicators
