Workshop on the Restitution and Validation of the Feasibility Study of the Sludge Project in Benin
On July 18, 2024, a workshop to share and validate the feasibility study for the Optimization and Recovery of Fecal Sludge in Benin was held in Cotonou. This study aims to optimize the treatment/recovery link of fecal sludge and to integrate a market logic for various derived products, such as dried sludge, compost, treated fertilizing water, distilled or irrigation/washing water, bricks, ashes and biogas in the municipalities of Grand Nokoué and Parakou.
The study was carried out on behalf of the Waste and Sanitation Management Company (SGDS), with the technical assistance of TA Hub (EDE Cabinet).
